Pakistan Army Spokesman's Father's Nuclear Dealings with Al-Qaeda (X)
India-Pakistan tensions are at its highest and meanwhile Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry blamed India for supporting terrorists. Hold on a minute. This is the same individual whose Abbajan himself is a self-proclaimed international terrorist. Whose name has also been linked to Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.
The person who holds the chair of DG ISPR is the son of a father who has been associated with terrorism by the United Nations, the US, the UK, and even Pakistan. Ahmed Sharif Chowdhury's father had provided details on chemical, biological and nuclear weapons to the infamous terrorist Osama bin Laden.
Ahmed Sharif is the present Director General of the ISPR, the media department of the Pakistan Army. He belongs to the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Corps and was recently appointed as the commander of ISPR by General Asim Munir. Previously, he has been serving as the head of DESTO (Defense Science and Technology Organization).
The institution that carries out Pakistan's military research and on which the US has placed technological embargoes numerous times. Not too much can be said about his personal ideology, but the period when he developed was during the time of Zia-ul-Haq, the time when radical nationalism and religious extremism were openly encouraged.
Bashiruddin Mahmood was from a poor peasant background. He was at the top of the Punjab Board examination and traveled to the UK in the 1960s after studying electrical engineering in Lahore. He earned a master's degree in control systems and nuclear engineering.
Ahmed Sharif's father, Dr. Sultan Bashiruddin Mahmood, was previously Pakistan's premier nuclear scientist. He was conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz, which is the third highest civil honor in Pakistan. Then he did something so drastic that he went directly out of science and onto the streets of jihad.
In 2000, he formed an organization called Ummah Tameer-e-Nau (UTN). The title is all peace and service, yet the actual job was to provide funds, organize and technical assistance to the Taliban and al-Qaeda. Bashir Mahmood was detained in 2001 with another scientist. He was accused of having met Osama bin Laden and imparted information from nuclear bombs to biological weapons. The UN report claims that it laid out to bin Laden the fundamentals of the nuclear weapons program and how they would affect things.
Dr Bashir was not just fond of weapons, but also with weird scientific concepts. He authored a book titled Mechanics of the Doomsday and Life after Death, which stated that genies are nothing but energy units composed of plasma and can be utilized to generate electricity. It is also stated in the book that the behavior of the sun (sunspots) caused the French Revolution, World War II and numerous significant uprisings throughout the globe. "They knew what they were doing," a US intelligence officer commented about him. And they were totally crazy!"
